  new section: Gilbert Historical Society

The Gilbert Gazette was founded in 2002 but with few changes from 2006 to 2011. (Click here to learn about the early history of the Gazette.)

In September 2011, much of the material was deleted, and remaining sections were simplified but not updated. Perhaps those sections will remain as they are unless there is new support for collecting and posting current information. However, we are excited about a new section, created in December 2011, for materials related to the Gilbert Historical Society and look forward to adding materials to it.

Please contact the Gazette Group if you have ideas about the site's importance or how its future, including the posting of fresh material, could happen.
