NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

There is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of Gilbert, Iowa a proposed plan for an urban revitalization tax exemption as provided by section 404.2(2) of the Code of Iowa. The proposed plan is available for inspection during regular office hours.

Pursuant to section 404.2(3) of the Code of Iowa, notice is hereby given of a public hearing during the regular meeting of the City Council commencing at 7:00 P.M. on Monday, 17 June, 2002, in the City Council Chambers in City Hall at 119 Main Street, Gilbert, Iowa, for the purpose of considering the proposed plan. Any interested person may appear at that time and place in support of or in opposition to the proposed plan. Objections to the proposed plan should be made in writing, signed, and presented to the City Clerk at or before the time of said hearing.

Notice is published by authority of the City Council and pursuant to section 404.2(3) and 362.3 of the Code of Iowa.
