CALLED TO ORDER: 7:02 P.M. at City Hall, by Mayor Bob Jaquis
ROLL CALL: Present: Craig Allen, Chris Benda, Helen Gunderson, Lynn Henn and Peg Uthe.
Absent: None
Moved by Henn, seconded by Uthe to approve the minutes for February 4, 2002, a revised revenue and expense report for January 2002, funds list for January 2002, Agenda, Claims List and Interim Claims List for February 18, 2002. Motion declared carried unanimously.
No citizen requested to speak during the open forum.
Mayor Jaquis and Council discussed seeding and putting a sidewalk on city’s easement between 124 and 128 Christian Petersen.
Mayor Jaquis discussed with Council driveway approach depth.
Larry Werner was present to discuss a park sign for Upstill Park. Larry informed council that this would be an Eagle Scout Project and presented a draft of a sign for Upstill Park. Mayor Jaquis advised Larry to prepare a budget for materials needed for the sign.
Moved by Uthe, seconded by Allen to open the Public Hearing for the 2002-2003 Fiscal year Budget. Motion declared carried unanimously.
No citizen was present to speak during the Public Hearing.
Moved by Gunderson, seconded by Uthe to close the Public Hearing for the 2002-2003 Fiscal year Budget. Motion declared carried unanimously.
Moved by Benda, seconded by Henn to adopt Resolution 387, Approving the Adoption of the 2002-2003 Fiscal year Budget. Roll Call Vote: 5-0 Resolution 387 declared adopted unanimously, signed by the Mayor and hereby made a portion of these minutes.
Mayor Jaquis discussed with Council the No Parking sign on Thompson Drive. He explained that there has been a problem with mail delivery at a resident’s home and would like council’s approval to move the stop sign east towards School Street. Council agreed to change the ordinance.
Moved by Uthe, seconded by Gunderson to adjourn at 8:00 p.m. Motion declared carried unanimously.
