CALLED TO ORDER: 7:03 P.M. at City Hall, by Mayor Bob Jaquis ROLL CALL: Present: Craig Allen, Chris Benda, Lynn Henn (arriving at 7:10 p.m.), Jon Popp & Peg Uthe. Absent: None OPEN FORUM: No Citizen requested to speak during the Open Forum. DISCUSSION OF LIONS PARK DRAINAGE: Mayor Jaquis informed Council that City Engineer, David Dougherty and City Employee Gary Steel met with Ames Trenching at Lions Park to review the drainage problem. Ames Trenching is in the process of preparing a proposal for the city. DISCUSSION OF CITY BANK ACCOUNTS: Kurt Jensen with First National Bank presented to Council an analysis, which compared First National Bank rates to US Bank rates. Council member Allen requested that all banks on the City’s depository resolution be supplied with the same information and given the same opportunity that First National Bank has been given. Council agreed. CONSENT CALENDAR: Moved by Uthe, seconded by Henn to approve the minutes for September 23, 2002, Revenue and Expense report for September 2002, Agenda, Claims List, Interim Claims List and Receipt List for October 7, 2002. Motion declared carried unanimously. GENERAL DISCUSSION: In General Discussion October 28, 2002 was decided to be the next Gilbert City Council meeting. ADJOURN: Moved by Allen, seconded by Uthe to adjourn at 7:42 p.m. Motion declared carried unanimously.
