CALLED TO ORDER: 7:03 P.M. at City Hall, by Mayor Bob Jaquis ROLL CALL: Present: Craig Allen, Chris Benda, Lynn Henn, Jon Popp & Peg Uthe Absent: None CONSENT CALENDAR: Moved by Uthe, seconded by Allen to approve the Minutes for November 18, 2002, Revenue and Expense Report for November 2002, Funds Report for November 2002, Agenda, Claims List, Interim Claims List and Receipt List for December 2, 2002. Vote on Motion: 5-0. Motion declared carried unanimously. OPEN FORUM: No Citizen requested to speak during the Open Forum. DISCUSSION OF GILBERT WETLAND DAM: Mayor Jaquis stated no action needed to be taken at this time to meet the Department of Natural Resources deadline. Mayor Jaquis reported that City Engineer David Dougherty is still working with the DNR for a solution. DISCUSSION OF 2003-2004 BUDGET: Mayor Jaquis and Council discussed and determined individual amounts on budget items for the 2003-2004 budget. DISCUSSION OF EMPLOYEE BENEFITS: Mayor Jaquis explained to Council that it was time to renew employee health and dental insurance. Mayor Jaquis stated there has been an increase in premium rates and asked Council if they would like to stay with the same plan. Council asked city employee’s if they have experienced any problems with the plan. City employee Gary Steel said he seems to be satisfied. Council agreed to renew the current plan. ADJOURN: Moved by Uthe, seconded by Henn to adjourn at 8:06 p.m. Motion declared carried unanimously.
