Christian Peterson was a renown sculptor, teaching at Iowa State University
and making his home in Gilbert. This is a review of a book about Peterson
that was originally produced as the catalog for a retrospective exhibit at
the Brunnier Museum at Iowa State of his work. The book was published in
2000. The review was published in the summer of 2001 in the Annals of
Iowa
Thomas Keinert is a 14-year-old student at the Gilbert Community Schools. He lives in north Ames with his parents, Ria and Fritz Keinert, and his brother, Marcus Keinert.
Deane Gunderson wrote a series of columns in the mid-1970s about small town and rural life for The Rolfe Arrow of Rolfe, Iowa.
He is a retired farmer living in Pocahontas County and father
of Gazette editor Helen Gunderson.
