Questionnaire Guidelines, Etc.

(The following guidelines and other remarks were sent to the candidates
along with the list of 10 open-ended questions.)

A. you don't have to answer all the questions but that it would be helpful for you to answer as many as you feel comfortable with

B. you don't need to be long-winded, but if you are a person like me who needs lots of words to say what's on your mind ... then more power to you and take the space you need

C. by sending back the material, you are giving me permission to publish your thoughts on the Gilbert Gazette

D. I promise to be fair in the listing of responses and not skew the report to favor any person. Also, I will not "rank" answers but will simply list them as you send them.

E. If at some point you feel you want to reword something, please e-mail me, and I will make the appropriate changes to the site ... as long as there isn't a whole long list of changes.

F. If you want me to post a photo of you, I will gladly do so. You can send me a file attachment in JPG format or arrange to get a photo to me so I can scan it. The photo can be of yourself or you with other people. The photos need not be formal ones.

G. Please try to get your answers to me by this Saturday (August 31) so I can post them before Labor Day. That way, people will have about 11 days to read the information. I probably will post information as it comes in. On the other hand, I may wait until I have everyone's responses in hand.

H. Also, it would help if you would e-mail an announcement to friends about the web site. It's only been up since May, so there probably isn't a huge readership. But at least this is a start toward using the site to inform the public about candidates for local and school government.

You can go to the list of questions then follow the link for each one
to find a page of answers by all the candidates who have responded.
Or you can click on a name to go to a  complete set of answers by that candidate.
